WHATISPROJECT58?
ABOUTOURFOUNDERS
Project58 is an international non-profit organization that focuses on ending human suffering through feeding programs, access to clean drinking water and medical care, rescuing victims of human trafficking and forced prostitution and rescuing orphans. Project58 desires to take a holistic approach in fighting against poverty. We don't simply want to give an individual a handout, therefore creating a dependency on an organization. Instead we want to develop programs which teach and provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resource that are essential in creating self-sufficiency. While there is a place for traditional philanthropy/charity, we have to move beyond simply providing individuals with basic needs and begin to teach and enable them to be self-sufficient and to contribute to their local and global community. We realize that we alone are not going to change the world, but that together with you, and the individuals in need, we will change the world as we know it.

Project58 aims to alleviate human suffering by focusing
on three distinct areas:

  Poverty
We aim to fight poverty by providing food to the hungry, access to clean drinking water, basic medical care, shelter to the homeless, and education.

  Human Trafficking
Our fight to end the injustice of human trafficking involves this strategy: Rescue, Restoration & Prevention.

  Displaced Individuals
We work to provide for those who have been orphaned or displaced due to war, AIDS, and/or natural disasters.

The motivation behind Project58 comes from a passage in the Book of Isaiah:

"This is the kind of fast day I'm after: to break the chains of injustice, get rid of exploitation in the workplace, free the oppressed, cancel debts. What I'm interested in seeing you do is: sharing your food with the hungry, inviting the homeless poor into your homes, putting clothes on the shivering ill-clad, being available to your own families."
